When the papoose of the Indian mom falls into the river, Molly comes to the rescue. The ducks, being silly about who will dive in after the babe, soon find themselves captured by the Indian hunter for dinner, with Molly again to the rescue, and of course, the mom of the rescued babe. Molly saves the Indian woman from the abusive brave. She also saves the papoose from drowning, and the ducks from the brave. In the end, Molly and the ducks do continue on westward.
